We are seeking an Analytical Lab Technician III to perform chemical analysis on routine and non-routine raw materials, in process samples and finished products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or relevant area of study and 2+ years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Conduct chemical and/or physical analyses as defined by existing work instructions on routine and non-routine samples using analytical instruments.
- Document, process, transfer, and review analytical data, calculations and observation to ensure completion, conformity, traceability, and validity.
- Recognize OOS or out of trend results and under the direction of the Manager complete lab investigations.
- Perform general maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, according to the department’s established calibration program.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and method problems with the Manager’s assistance.
- Maintain ownership of the lab supplies inventory, organize and monitor minimum stock and escalate the need for new purchase order.
