The Project Safety Representative is responsible for supporting the safe execution of electrical construction projects by ensuring compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and electrical safety regulations (including NFPA 70E)
- Understanding of common electrical construction hazards, PPE requirements, fall protection, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Knowledge of jobsite safety inspections, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Pre-Task Planning (PTP) processes
- Familiarity with incident reporting, near-miss tracking, and corrective action procedures
- Electrical background and knowledge
