Job Description
This is a Co-Occurring Disorder Counselor position that can be fulfilled as a W-2 employee or as an independent contractor (1099). The role requires a valid Maryland licensure and a bachelor's degree in a related field. The counselor will provide outpatient substance use disorder treatment services to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Requirements
- Valid Maryland licensure
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years experience working with dual diagnosis or high-acuity populations
- Familiarity with Medicaid documentation, CARF standards, and trauma-informed care
