Job Description
Entuitive is seeking a Code Consultant in Canada with experience in building code consulting and fire safety engineering principles to develop alternative solutions, review building plans for code compliance, and grow the fire engineering service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in civil or mechanical engineering, architecture, or a related field, or Diploma in Architectural or Fire Protection Engineering Technology
- 6-8 years of experience in building code compliance and developing performance-based Alternative Solutions in a consulting environment
- Registered Professional Engineer or other professional designation such as BCIN Professional
- Experience interpreting and applying regulatory codes and standards to ensure compliance
- Strong business acumen and ability to exercise sound judgment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex situations with multiple stakeholders
