Job Description
We are a firm that does things a little differently, looking for a Computational Designer to join our high-calibre team to re-imagine the future of building design and construction. The role involves applying advanced computational design techniques and automation to solve complex engineering challenges on live projects.
Requirements
- BSc in Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Building Science (MSc preferred)
- Minimum 5–10 years of professional experience in design or engineering with hands-on design and analysis work
- Demonstrated experience with parametric modeling and computational design techniques on building structures
- Strong proficiency in engineering design and analysis tools: Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, Sofistik or similar
- Working knowledge of Python and/or C# programming languages with the ability to write scripts and automate workflows
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to translate between engineering and design teams
- Portfolio or examples demonstrating computational design work applied to structural or architectural projects
