Patent Information Professional

We are seeking a motivated patent information professional to strengthen our Intellectual Property capabilities. The role involves conducting and managing comprehensive searches across patent and non-patent literature, supporting business decision-making, and identifying potential third-party patent risks. The position is available as a full-time or part-time position and offers a hybrid work model combining office-based work in Geleen, the Netherlands.

Requirements

• Holds a Post - HBO (Master's or equivalent) degree in the field of Chemistry, preferably in polymer science or closely related field.
• Is proficient in modern patent search methodologies and the use of patent databases; or has basic knowledge of these but the motivation to further develop these skills.
• Has completed or is willing to complete the “Patent Information Specialist” training in the Netherlands (English-language program).
• Demonstrates technical curiosity and interest beyond their own immediate field of expertise, including emerging digital and AI-based searching tools.
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
