Job Description
Clean Earth is seeking a General Laborer to perform physical and manual labor-related tasks such as facility maintenance, cleaning and manually sorting material in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work overtime and various shifts, which may include weekends.
Requirements
- Operates construction or power equipment, such as mechanized broom, Skid Steer, High Reach (man lift), and Water Truck.
- General equipment maintenance (greasing, checking oil, refilling fluids, and fueling equipment), as necessary.
- General compliance and grounds keeping tasks (daily soil pile uncovering/recovering, weed whacking, site cleanup, silt sack replacements, etc.)
- Sort through soil and rocks to remove debris from conveyors and/or by hand.
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor; cleans equipment.
- Cleaning materials and removal of soil and debris from various equipment.
- Works with and assists other crew members with soil screeners and rock crushers.
- Able to safely use a variety of tools such as hand tools, grinders, saws, pressure washers, etc.
- Assist other crew members and operators as necessary.
