Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structural welding, pipe welding, brazing, and soldering, along with a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certificate.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in structural welding, pipe welding, brazing, and soldering in a professional setting
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training in welding education preferred
- Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to students of varying skill levels
- Comfortable with Microsoft and Google Suite applications, and Learning Management Software
- Proven ability to teach and mentor individuals in a classroom and hands-on setting, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
- Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures, with a focus on instilling safe work habits in students and proper use of PPE
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and industry partners in a dynamic educational environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and student needs, with a willingness to continuously improve teaching methods and curriculum
