Project Manager – Natural Gas Transmission Projects

Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to support the planning, permitting, and delivery of natural gas transmission and midstream infrastructure projects. The role will contribute to a diverse portfolio that includes interstate and intrastate pipelines, compressor and meter stations, modernization and integrity management programs, and renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in project management
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or similar
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including FERC, NEPA, Clean Water Act, ESA, and state/local permitting
• Experience leading natural gas transmission projects through the full development lifecycle
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
• Willingness to travel for meetings, field visits, and stakeholder engagements
