Job Description
Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Engineer to join their team in the Southeast region. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in freshwater restoration design, a passion for water resources and restoration, and a desire to learn and grow.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in freshwater restoration design within the southeastern United States, preferably Florida
- Bachelor's degree or higher in civil or environmental engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Professionally licensed engineer (PE), preferably with a Florida Professional Engineers license
- Strong skills in Microsoft tools, design and mapping software, and experience with stormwater hydrology and hydraulic modeling
- Experience in preparing technical specifications, engineer opinion of probable costs, and construction bid packages
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and project management skills
