The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of full-cycle payroll for approximately 1,000 employees across multiple U.S. states. This role supports both exempt and non-exempt employees and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax regulations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience, including both exempt and non-exempt employees
- Experience processing payroll for a multi-state U.S. workforce
- Hands-on experience with an ERP or payroll system (Dayforce strongly preferred)
- Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data reconciliation
- Proven experience performing payroll audits and resolving discrepancies
- Strong understanding of full-cycle payroll processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
