The Chief Program Officer is a key member of NCJW|LA's leadership team, responsible for overseeing the design, integration, and evaluation of programs and advocacy efforts to maximize community impact.
Requirements
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive work experience with at least 5 in senior leadership positions in program management, advocacy, community engagement, or related fields.
- Proven record of developing and scaling innovative programs with measurable impact.
- Experience leading and motivating diverse teams; strong commitment to inclusive leadership and staff development.
- Deep knowledge of systemic inequities affecting women, low-income families, and communities of color.
- Knowledge of government structure and dynamics in the State of California, County of Los Angeles, and cities within the County.
- Strong background in program evaluation, performance management, and data-driven decision-making.
- Skilled in policy/advocacy strategy, coalition building, and external representation.
- Excellent communicator, relationship-builder, and collaborator across sectors and communities.
- Budget management and resource development experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in multi-year and scenario operational planning, development, and execution.
