Program Specialist

Envision Schools seeks a Program Specialist to support Special Education and Intervention systems to meet the needs of students so they graduate prepared for success after high school. The Program Specialist will work closely with the Associate Director of Special Education, Learning Specialists, School Psychologists, and General Education leaders to support systems for the Special Education/Intervention program.

Requirements

• Valid California Education Specialist credential, CLAD certificate preferred
• Masters in Special Education or related area preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum 3-5 years Special Education experience
• In-depth knowledge of current Special Education and Federal laws
• Expert knowledge of writing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), running IEP meetings, Behavior Support Plans and Progress Monitoring
• Successful school leadership experience or targeted training with a track record of positive results.
• Demonstrated experience affecting positive organizational change and leading staff to accomplish ambitious goals in the face of challenging obstacles.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers preferred.
• Receptiveness to feedback and desire to continuously improve to meet outcomes.
