Job Description
The Receiving Operator - bulk material is responsible for receiving pellets, running quality testing, and maintaining the area. They must communicate with suppliers, operate equipment, and maintain QA/QC records. The role requires working in a fast-paced, industrial environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Requirements
- Receive pellets into the port, record data, and ensure accurate billing
- Keep scale and ramps clean and free of debris
- Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with suppliers
- Collect samples and test finished goods
- Maintain QA/QC records and follow Quality Standard Operating Procedures
- Analyze equipment performance and make quality results
- Keep area generally neat and orderly
- Operate mobile equipment such as Bobcat and Lull to move dust collection bags
- Follow all workplace and job safety procedures
