Job Description
EOSYS is seeking an Ignition Engineer to develop and maintain Ignition-based solutions for manufacturing clients. The role involves both on-site project commissioning and remote configuration, often with opportunities to learn new skills. Projects range from a few weeks to up to 6 months, with potential for growth and internal mobility.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical)
- 5+ years’ experience configuring and developing applications using Ignition
- Skilled in Python and SQL
- Experience with Ignition Vision and Perspective development environments
- Experience with OPC UA and MQTT
- Experience with Ignition Edge and MES/IIoT modules
- Basic knowledge of PLC tag structures and communications
- Familiarity with working in a manufacturing environment
