The Senior Buyer will ensure efficient procurement of materials, technical components, and services to support production operations and CAPEX-related initiatives, with key responsibilities including independent processing of procurement transactions, managing supplier relationships, and implementing SAP S/4HANA.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or similar
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in international procurement, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven experience with technical sourcing, especially related to production equipment and CAPEX-related investments
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly in high-volume procurement scenarios
- Sound knowledge of contract and supplier management
- Proficient in SAP ERP systems, with hands-on experience and ideally exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or rollout
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
