Maintenance Operator I, II, III

EPCOR is hiring full-time, permanent Maintenance Operators for our Sandow Water Treatment Plant near Lexington, TX. As a Maintenance Operator, you will work in a 24/7/365 facility to keep essential water treatment systems operating at peak performance.

Requirements

• Maintain pumps, piping, tanks, valves, switches, and diesel generators at groundwater treatment plants, well sites, booster stations, and reservoirs.
• Perform operations, maintenance, and control work on water treatment plant equipment, including chemical systems and pressure control valves.
• Replace pump packing and mechanical seals; repair hydrostatic drives for pumps; troubleshoot air compressors, HVAC systems, and vacuum pumps.
• Maintain advanced water treatment equipment such as Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration Skids, and Cold Lime Softening systems.
• Install and repair piping, valves, and other components of water treatment plants.
• Perform rounds and record accurate readings from well sites.
• Conduct construction and fabrication tasks at the facility.
• Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, trenchers, bucket-lifts, and dump trucks.
• Maintain landscaping and ensure facility upkeep.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned duties.
