Job Description
EPFL is seeking 2 PhD students to contribute to the development of groundbreaking generative AI methodologies for materials design. The successful candidates will work on novel multimodal generative AI architectures, latent diffusion processes, and reinforcement learning approaches.
Requirements
- PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong analytical background and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn generative deep learning, particularly latent diffusion and multimodal approaches
- Professional command of English (written and spoken)
- Eligibility for the doctoral program in Electrical Engineering
