The Chair of Operations, Economics and Strategy at EPFL invites applications for a full-time PhD student position. The mission is to conduct world-class research and teaching at the intersection of operations, economics, and strategy, with a focus on organizations and their interactions.
Requirements
- An excellent Master’s-level degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- A strong mathematical background, including familiarity with optimization, probability, and the analysis of mathematical models
- Proficiency in English
- Strong motivation for academic research, critical thinking, independence, good self-management skills, and team spirit
- Interest in a career involving research and teaching is an asset
