The Underwriter position requires an individual to perform various financial analysis tasks, including developing budgets and assessing client risk. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of coverages and services regarding employee benefits, as well as strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
Requirements
- Project client claim data to develop budgets and calculate client rates
- Review experience reporting for accuracy
- Collaborate with consultants and account teams to prepare and deliver client financial presentations
- Manage and oversight of underwriting support team
- Renew and market carriers for assigned book of business
- Analyze/ negotiate annual renewals and proposals from carriers for accuracy and financial reasonableness
- Analyze client demographics and other data to determine risk and appropriate carrier product solutions
