The Underwriter role at EPIC requires advanced knowledge of coverages and services regarding employee benefits, strong attention to detail and time management abilities, and a high level of interpersonal skills. The position involves performing financial analysis, collaborating with consultants and account teams, and making sound underwriting-based assumptions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of seven years’ experience performing financial analysis at a benefits consulting or brokerage firm, or comparable experience with an insurance carrier, or TPA
- Advanced working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications
- Valid Driver License
- Life and Health License
