Job Description
The Machine Operator role is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve quality and production standards. This includes operating multi-head Plasma/Oxy-Fuel ESAB Burn Table and Laser Table, fabricating parts to blueprint specification, and performing preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 3 to 5 years' experience in Heavy Equipment/Manufacturing environment
- Experience with CNC machines (2 years' experience preferred)
- Experienced in driving forklift and overhead crane
- Basic computer skills
- Good organizational, prioritizing & problem-solving skills
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, problem solving skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment dealing with ad-hoc issues when required
- Attention to detail
