Job Description
The Housing Navigator assists clients in locating and obtaining permanent supportive housing. Responsibilities include outreach, client support, and relationship development with property managers and leasing agents.
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors Degree in psychology, counseling social work, or related field
- 3 years experience closely related to the job description
- Substantial knowledge/experience working with individuals in crisis or unstable housing situations
- Knowledge of issues confronted by adults with substance abuse, domestic violence, HIV/AIDS, mental health issues, history of trauma and co-occurring-diagnoses
