Job Description
Join Epworth HealthCare as a Theatre Technician and contribute to delivering an exceptional patient experience with a focus on safety-first. Assist clinicians and team members with patient preparation, prepare and maintain operating suite equipment, and provide safe patient transport. Qualifications include Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Specialising in Operating Theatre Technician) or above and a minimum 6 months theatre technician experience following qualification.
Requirements
- Cert III Theatre Technician qualification and above
- Minimum 6 months theatre technician experience following qualification
- Clear understanding and use of medical terminology
- Understanding of, and ability to set-up medical devices
- Ability to work a rotating roster (mix of AM, PM, twilight and weekend shifts)
