Job Description
EQT is hiring a Midstream Operations Technician I/II/III to maintain a safe operating environment and perform various duties associated with maintaining and operating midstream gathering systems. The role involves operating, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs of pipelines and appurtenances, natural gas engines, electric motors, dehydration equipment, auxiliary equipment, and gas compressors. The selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related work experience in the natural gas industry; pipeline, storage, and facility operations
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Products
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and research skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify work priorities and function with very little supervision at times
- Must be a team player, self-motivated with high level of energy and initiative
- High School Diploma / GED
