Job Description
Platform Engineer ensures system reliability across AWS/GCP and hybrid architectures, focusing on proactive monitoring and scaling. The role involves building and maintaining reusable IaC patterns, developing automated pipelines for application deployment, and participating in on-call rotations for high-severity incidents.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent technical field
- 2–5 years of professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Operations roles
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP)
- Proven experience in scripting (Bash or Python) and configuration management tools (Ansible or Chef)
- Foundational knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration, networking (DNS, Load Balancing), and security protocols
