Job Description
Equifax is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and implement smart solutions in GCP/AWS using Cloud Native and AI capabilities. The role involves architecting, designing, and implementing systems, ensuring alignment with technology strategy, and providing technical oversight of implementation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience architecting and developing software in the public cloud, including experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime, and proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience architecting and developing software in the public cloud
- Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability
- Experience in one or more languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript and/or node.js, Gen AI, GitHub Co-pilot code assist
- Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge with systems, storage, networking, security, and databases
- Partner with Engineering, and SREs to analyze any outages or resiliency issues and provide remediation steps
- Experience with microservice best practices and design patterns
- Experience with event driven architecture and immutable data management patterns (CQRS)
- Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices
