Job Description
We are looking for a CDL Delivery Driver to join our team at Forge & Build in Remus, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a forklift and straight truck, a commercial driver's license, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage and transport loads safely and in a timely manner over the required route.
- Maintain all required regulatory logs.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance malfunctions.
- Organize trailers in the shipping yard to optimize loading efficiency.
- Maintain yard inventory control and procedures.
- Communicate issues that could impact the business in a timely and effective manner.
