Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We're hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our rental facility in Birmingham, AL. The role involves maintaining and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools. As a Shop Technician, you'll use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster. You'll also assist in the training of lower-level technicians and maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.

Requirements

• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
