Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic)

EquipmentShare is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) to work at their rental facility in Cartersville, GA. The role involves maintaining and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on various rental and customer equipment and tools. The technician will use the company's proprietary T3 platform to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster.

Requirements

• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
