Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic)

EquipmentShare is hiring a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) to maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. The role involves using technology to diagnose issues, track machine service intervals, and order parts. The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, has advanced mechanical aptitude, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably
• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
• Year-round company provided OEM training
