Job Description
EquipmentShare is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator for its Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO. The role is responsible for placing purchase orders, tracking orders, and analyzing demand forecasts. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Fulfillment Operations or Supply Chain disciplines, excellent communication skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Gain approvals for purchases prior to placement
- Track and communicate expected arrival dates to internal/external customers
- Review and analyze demand generation tools such as forecast, historical sales, equipment movements, etc.
- Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans
- Follow SOP and work instruction guidelines
- Attend daily/weekly group meetings
- Address order tracking inquiries and issues in a timely manner
- Participate in cross functional projects to develop a best-in-class supply chain operation
- Comply with company SOP's regarding supply/demand/ and purchasing practices
