Advanced Markets Underwriting Director

We're looking for a highly experienced underwriter to lead our Advanced Markets Underwriting team, overseeing complex UHNW and Large Case underwriting.

Requirements

• 15+ years as professional underwriter
• 5 years of proven leadership experience
• Deep understanding of the market and emerging risks
• Expertise in compliance, claims, rescission, fraud, and legal implications associated with underwriting
• Expert knowledge in all aspects of risk assessment: medical, non-medical, foreign travel, financial underwriting principals
• Proven leadership and mentorship experience in developing underwriters
• Exceptional analytical, judgement and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative and client-focused mindset
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong communication skills
