Job Description
Equum Medical is seeking a Tele-Intensivist to provide direct and compassionate virtual care to patients in the ICU setting. This role involves developing and implementing standardized best practices, monitoring and assessing patient care, and communicating with interdisciplinary teams. The position offers flexible scheduling and aims to balance work-life balance and ensure long-term career sustainability.
Requirements
- Managing the ventilator and titrating vasoactive infusions
- Communicating effectively with other members of the patient's care team
- Practicing VTE, SUP, appropriate ventilation and sedation
- Accessing and utilizing the EMR, patient records, vital signs, and other decision support tools
- Proficiency in computer documentation and navigation
- Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine
- Board-Certification in Critical Care Medicine and additional sub specialties are a plus
- Proficiency in acute and/or critical care skills
- Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Reliable high speed home internet
- 12 hour shifts (7PM - 7AM EST)
- Proficiency in ACP (Advanced Care Practice).
