The System Engineer II supports the design, development, and qualification of computing solutions. This role involves close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and provides support to the manufacturing environment and related departments to ensure successful deployment and production readiness.
Requirements
- Participate in activities associated with customer solution development including data collection, analysis, computer and component troubleshooting, and methods to characterize design.
- Analyze and document requirements for testability, traceability, and completeness.
- Implement product requirements, conduct integration and qualification of individual components, performance characteristics qualification and environmental considerations.
- Install and configure operating systems, firmware, software applications, and various software-based components to perform troubleshooting, verification, validation, and system qualification.
- Participate in the planning activities including milestone development, risk management, estimation and execution, and on-time success.
- Develop supporting documentation, summarize all verification and validation results, analyze and interpolate test data, record pass/fail results, and justify conclusions reached in compliance of all product requirements.
- Follow the engineering change management process to plan and communicate changes of customer products, manufacturing engineering, and the manufacturing environment.
- Technical support for customers in the assessment of performance, stability, and systems management lifecycle issues.
- Drive excellence through benchmarking and best practices. Follow and enhance development processes, work procedures, and work instructions that align with ISO 9001.
