Systems Engineer II

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various systems engineering efforts supporting the development of complex military systems.

Requirements

• Perform systems engineering activities for complex electronic systems, from concept to deployment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, project requirements, and industry standards.
• Conduct system requirements analysis, definition, and allocation, translating customer needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and subject matter experts, to develop system architectures and design solutions that optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Oversee system integration, verification, and validation activities to ensure compliance with functional requirements and performance objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address technical challenges and ensure system safety, security, and interoperability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Support the preparation of technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, test plans, and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project and contractual requirements.
