Provide professional-level instruction in GED and CASAS reading and math preparation, as well as high school diploma coursework. Facilitate 1:1 and small group sessions to meet individual learning needs. Monitor and support student progress.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in education or related field or proven experience as an instructor
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in youth development
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of effective youth-adult partnerships
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in training design and approach
- Ability to present complex information to a team with varied skill sets
- Ability to lead and facilitate collaborative relationships with diverse groups
- Excellent writing, speaking, and analytical skills
- Strong self-motivation: ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple priorities
- Experience in curriculum development, implementation, and instruction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Business Suite preferred
