Cyber Security Architect Lead

ERCOT is seeking a Cyber Security Architect Lead to develop and execute architecture strategy and support strategic system development initiatives. The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. The job involves designing and implementing security solutions, analyzing complex systems, and identifying potential vulnerabilities. The role requires expertise in security principles and technologies, as well as experience with projects and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Develops and executes architecture strategy and support strategic system development initiatives
• Provides design recommendations
• Develops enterprise level applications and custom integration solutions
• Analyzes complex systems architecture to identify design gaps and recommend security enhancements
• Works with project stakeholders to identify appropriate security requirements, engineer practical security solutions and implement measurable security guidelines
• Reviews current security policy and standards to ensure technical security requirements, guidelines and best practices are communicated and put into practice for each assigned project
