Senior Frontend Engineer (React) (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced frontend professional who takes responsibility, influences technical decisions, and sustainably develops our React applications. The ideal candidate will have several years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on React and a strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, React, Hooks, and the component lifecycle.

Requirements

• Responsibility for the further development and scaling of our frontend architecture based on React
• Conception and implementation of complex features with a focus on user experience, performance, and maintainability
• Integration of REST APIs as well as close collaboration with Laravel backend development in the design of interfaces
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring high code quality in the team
• Technical co-determination and evaluation of architectural decisions
• Active elimination of technical debt and continuous improvement of existing systems
• Close collaboration with product management and backend development for joint further development of our platform
• Taking over technical responsibility beyond one's own code
• Completed education or degree in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification through practical experience
• Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in frontend development with a focus on React
• Very good knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) as well as profound experience with React, Hooks, and the component lifecycle
• Safe handling of TypeScript in productive applications
• Experience in developing and maintaining complex, long-term-oriented web applications
• Experience in designing and further developing frontend architectures
• Experience with modern styling approaches, preferably with utility-first CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS
• You take responsibility for technical decisions and think beyond your own code
