Job Description
Our client is seeking an ELV Technician (Operations) to install and commission ELV & ICT systems and devices. The ideal candidate will be part of an installation team and will be responsible for installing equipment, testing systems performance, and analyzing results.
Requirements
- Undertake routine installations of ELV and ICT systems and appliances to standards required by IEE
- Highlight any housing & containment management problems to other members of the team
- Set up ELV & ICT electronic systems and devices
- Trace, diagnose and rectify faults using appropriate testing and measuring equipment
- Maintain test and commissioning equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and safe environment while working within an occupied property
- Provide instruction and supervision to apprentices
- Obtain customer feedback on completion of works when requested
- Work with external clients to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Collection and delivery of materials, including maintaining site stocks
