Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist (Site Remediation)

ERG is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer or Scientist to oversee environmental site assessment and remediation projects for state and federal clients. The role involves managing projects, writing technical documents, interpreting data, and training junior staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA, and state VRPs, as well as strong project management skills.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental site assessment and remediation
• Brownfields, CERCLA, RCRA Corrective Action and/or state VRP experience
• Proven project manager with ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors on time and on budget
• Knowledgeable in current and emerging remedial technologies with a preference for candidates with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) experience
• Ability to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• 40-hour HAZWOPER Certified
• Be able to carry 25 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms
