Job Description
Make a measurable difference in shaping sustainable development as a Senior Consultant, Wetlands Biologist/Ecologist/Scientist at ERM. Lead critical infrastructure and energy projects, and drive renewable energy growth and sustainable infrastructure across the mid-Atlantic and southeastern U.S.
Requirements
- BS in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or related discipline (minimum 3.0 GPA) or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of relevant environmental work; at least 2 years leading teams
- Strong knowledge of field techniques for plant identification, soil sampling, hydric soil identification, and hydrology indicators
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage data, write detailed technical reports, and build spreadsheets
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license
- Commitment to safety and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
