Job Description
Provide technical expertise, product support, and optimized transformer solutions to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. Develop transformer designs or configurations, prepare technical proposals, and support project execution from initial inquiry through to final delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in transformer engineering
- Strong understanding of transformer design principles, including core design, winding configurations, insulation systems, thermal performance, short-circuit capability, and loss optimization
- Strong understanding of transformer electrical characteristics, losses, thermal performance, and protection schemes
- Familiarity with IEEE, IEC, CSA or other applicable standards
- Ability to read electrical drawings and interpret utility/industrial specifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, and customer-facing skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
