Job Description
ERMCO is the leading manufacturer of distribution transformers and engineered electrical solutions. The Mechanical Designer role involves assisting in the design and development of transformers and related components, with a focus on compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in technical field or related technical certification
- 2-3 years of experience in drafting or mechanical design, with a focus on transformer or related product design
- Proficiency with basic design and analysis tools, such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, UL, IEC, CSA) and regulatory requirements (e.g. DOE) for transformers or components
