Your Tasks

You will be responsible for the entire life cycle of our software as part of the team.

• You are particularly responsible for programming and software design of cellms.
• You will excel with excellent programming skills in web development
• As part of a small team, you will enjoy diverse tasks and take influence on your job description:
• Depending on your preferences, you will focus on coding or work on technical consulting and planning of our projects.
• If you're interested in infrastructure topics, then DevOps might be the right fit for you.
• You will design as a member of an agile team the Scrum process and accompany all phases from planning to retro.
• You will take responsibility together with the team according to the principle 'You build it, you own it!'
• You will look for current trends and stay up-to-date. New ideas and approaches are always welcome.

The Position

The position is available at our locations in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, and remotely.

Your Profile

You have a completed study or professional degree in the field of (business) informatics, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or equivalent qualification

• You bring several years of experience in developing web applications, preferably in agile teams
• You feel at home in both backend and frontend development
• You have a deep understanding of object-oriented programming with languages such as PHP or Java and are open to new things
• You are familiar with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• If you also have knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Ubuntu, that's super
• Ideally, you have already dealt with CI/CD and test automation (e.g., Cypress).
• You work well in a team and appreciate a friendly and respectful work atmosphere
• You love sharing your knowledge and learning new things
• You enjoy designing, bringing your own ideas and experiences
• You can communicate in English and German

We, the escape team, are toolmakers, future makers, and digital agencies all in one. Since our founding in 1996, we have been developing software solutions.

Ten years ago, we started developing our own software, cellms. Since then, a powerful and versatile solution for the mid-range has emerged, which primarily covers the areas of CMS, CRM, Shop & Inventory Management, Event & Conference Management, and Email & Social Media Marketing.
