Job Description
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to help design, develop, implement, and debug a high performance, reliable and highly scalable backend infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of both backend and game side languages, experience with Docker and Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and Unix like operating systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years designing robust, high performance scalable systems, or else solid experience with C++
- Working knowledge of both backend and game side languages
- Experience using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably any of the following AWS, Azure and Google cloud
- Experience with Unix like operating systems
- Commitment to code quality, documentation, and sound testing procedures
- Ability to learn and master innovative technologies and code
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under deadlines
- Realtime multiplayer peer to peer or client server experience
- Shipped one or more game titles
- Experience developing for game consoles is a plus
