Job Description
eScribers is looking for stenographic court reporters to work as independent contractors. Must have training or relevant experience as a stenographic reporter and be able to appear in-person for hearings in Albany, NYC, and surrounding areas. Remote work is also available.
Requirements
- Must be able to provide NCRA, NVRA, NYSCRA Certification Credentials -OR- proof of successful completion of an accredited court reporting program
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States
- High degree of professionalism
- Commit to meeting all deadlines
- Have a high-speed internet connection
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Have a current U.S. bank account to receive contract payments
