Job Description
Responsible for scheduling, managing, and conducting Phase I-III fieldwork, lab analysis, and research associated with archaeological projects. Responsible for writing all, or portions of, archaeological reports at the direction of the Senior Archaeologist.
Requirements
- Masters Degree from an accredited school in anthropology, archaeology, or a closely related field
- Must meet the Secretary of the Interiors Qualification Standards for Archaeologists
- 4+ years of experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience
- Regional experience in historic and/or prehistoric archaeology
- Demonstrated skills and supervisory experience in Phase I-III fieldwork
- Must be able to provide a writing sample from either a thesis, dissertation, or archaeological report
- Must possess a valid drivers license
