Job Description
The Senior Category Manager is responsible for leading the sourcing of suppliers for materials/services within assigned categories, creating strategic long-term plans, and negotiating with vendors. The role requires advanced computer literacy, effective communication skills, and the ability to solve complex business problems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a Senior or Lead category manager and/or commodity management role in service, software, manufacturing or MRO environment with indirect spend
- Bachelors Degree or comparable combination of work experience and education
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional Supply Chain Management (CPSM) and APICS preferred
