Job Description
This role focuses on developing and piloting new food product formulations aligned with brand vision. The Assistant Manager will lead lab trials, coordinate with vendors and consumers, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. They will translate consumer needs into differentiated product ideas.
Requirements
- Develop new product formulations (juices, soups, snacks, smoothies, frozen, healthy snacks)
- Own lab and pilot trials, shelf-life studies, and texture/taste optimization
- Source and onboard vendors for functional ingredients, packaging materials, and co-packers
- Ensure 100% FSSAI compliance for all developed SKUs
- Coordinate with labs for nutritional, microbiological, and heavy metal testing
- Manage multiple trials and projects simultaneously
